No readers out there as of yet. So my question is what does it take to make up a successful blog? I just thought it would be interesting to get different opinions on topics I thought would be interesting. Any interesting topics you would like to discuss?

One topic on my mind today is the subject of a life long marriage. I have been married for 23 years. Although I love my husband, there are times when I would like to see what it would be like to be by myself. To not have to compromise on every detail of everything. Of not needing to get an okay from someone else when making certain decisions. I've never had this experience as I moved from living at home to being married. I've never been able to make total decisions on my own, learn from my own mistakes or simply do what I want when I want to do it.

I'm not saying I have no freedom. My husband, even though he says I can do anything I want, will always give his opinion whether wanted or not. I do make my own final decisions and suffer the consequences if need be. I am a strong person with strong opinions, it just gets tiring to always have to explain or stand up for what I feel is the right thing for me or my kids.
