I'm not sure if anyone is reading these blogs, but it makes me feel better to post them so here goes one for today. How does one deal with a co-worker that feel and are treated better than everyone else in the office?
I've found that being passive-aggressive works best for me. It's just irritating that the owners of the company let her do whatever she wants because she has been here for so long. I'm not saying she doesn't get her work done, she is a hard worker. I just don't think its right to treat one employee one way and a second employee another. The rules should apply to everyone.
This co-worker also feels that when the boss is out, she is the new boss. I don't ever remember that being said. So she gives me all her work she doesn't want to handle to make sure I'm busy and while I get it done, I do it in my own time frame. What doesn't get done today, will get done tomorrow.
