During my spiritual journey, I stumbled on the religion of Wicca. I found it most interesting and while not working at this point, I had the time to practice for a little bit. It's a very interesting religion, focusing on earthly matters and how to connect the earthly properties to the spititual realm of the universal energy. By using the earthly properties of crystals, herbs and oils, these properties increase the intentions of the person casting the "spell".

I believe that we all send out signals to the universe and the type of signals we send out is what we receive in life. If you put out negative signals it will draw negative results and vice-versa. I do think that it can only help to use earthly materials such as the crystals and oils to help make those signals release in a stronger manner.

However, it is a very time consuming practice. In order to cast a spell, it takes days and even weeks worth of preperations and the spell casting itself can take up to an hour. Plus you have to have certain moon stages in order to strengthen the spell. It also requires different tools in order to be stronger, such as candles, a wand, a sacred cup and so on. It can get a bit expensive as well as time consuming. So as much as I found this practice very interesting, I just don't have the time it takes to put into it. So I stick with my spiritual readings, meditations and affirmations to keep me on track.
